Personal data protection policy

Personal data confidentiality policy  All the personal information shared with the studio electronically (registration form and emails) in writing or verbally may be saved in a computer file by Christine Matthée (studio founder).   Your data is only stored, processed and used insofar as it is necessary for the lessons or any other activity relating to the studio to run smoothly (e.g. to contact you, inform you about lessons, inform you about shows, process your requests, check the validity of information necessary for payment, meet our legal obligations, etc.).

This data will be stored as long as necessary by Christine Matthée for the studio’s internal management and smooth running as well as for legal and administrative reasons.

Unless:

  • You exercise your right to delete data concerning you, under the conditions described below;
  • A longer storage time is authorised or required pursuant to a legal or regulatory obligation.

During this period, Christine Matthée, who may used an expert subcontractor1, will put in place all the necessary methods to guarantee the confidentiality and security of your personal data, to prevent it from being damaged, deleted or accessed by unauthorised third parties.

Access to your personal data is strictly limited to Christine. Outside the cases mentioned above, we will not sell, rent, transfer or give access to your data to third parties without your prior consent, unless we are obliged to do so for a legitimate reason (legal obligation, combating fraud or abuse, exercising the right to defend ourselves, etc.).

Pursuant to the European Regulation no. 2016/679/EU dated 27 April 2016 (applicable from 25 May 2018), you have the right to access, rectify, port or delete your data or limit its processing. You can also, for legitimate reasons, object to the processing of data concerning you.

Christine Matthée may at any time modify, stop or suspend the agreement that binds you if a lack of data or impossibility of using your correct data hinders the operation and/or management she intends of her studio and the relationship she maintains with pupils and/or parents and guardians.
